Nissan Quest 2008 Review
About Nissan Quest
The Nissan Quest is a minivan produced by Nissan since 1993. There have been three generations of this model. The first generation Nissan Quest was a collaboration with Ford, which produced the mechanically identical and cosmetically similar Mercury Villager.

The Nissan Quest was a new model made by Nissan to compete in the minivan segment. The Nissan Quest was a successor to the Axxess, which was sold in the United States in 1990 only and in Canada from 1990-1995. It also replaced the rear-wheel drive Vanette, also discontinued in 1990. The Nissan Quest was initially powered by Nissan's 3.0 L VG30E SOHC engine that made 151 hp (the engine is a slightly modified version of that found in other Nissan vehicles; one of the requirements of Ford was it be modified to become a non-interference engine, thus if the timing belt breaks, there would be no damage to the valves). The Nissan Quest was available as GXE or XE models. Because of manufacturing issues, Nissan had an arrangement for Ford to assemble the minivan in North America, and in turn they were allowed to rebadge it and sell it under the Mercury brand as the Villager. Many of the interior parts, including the radio, heater controls and power windows controls were adapted from Ford, and were similar to the Ford Aerostar. This generation of the Nissan Quest minivan was built in Avon Lake, Ohio, where the Villager was also built. The van shares a modified version of the VG30E from the U11, and early J30 Maximas, as well as the automatic transmission from the Maxima.

Specifications Nissan Quest
The Nissan Quest is distinguishable by a grille and headlights that are slightly shorter top to bottom than those on the Villager. Both vehicles were initially powered by the 3.0 L Nissan VG30E V6 until 1999, when the Nissan Quest received the 3.3 L version of the same engine. The Nissan Quest was completely redesigned for 2004, while the Villager was discontinued and replaced with the Mercury Monterey. The current model is built on the FF-L platform, which it shares with the Altima, Maxima, and Murano. It also shares the award-winning 3.5 L VQ engine with those cars.

Review
We have owned 3 previous minivans and have been pleased with all 3 for there everyday and vacation utility to haul 4 children, a bunch of luggage and still not break your back at the gas pump. When we started out this time we set ourselves on the Odyssey EXL w/DVD or Toyota Sienna XLE. These are suppose to be the champs. We loved the Honda versus our prior Chrysler T&Cs for the style and build. We favored the Honda over the Sienna's styling, we were buying the Honda. I decided after further research to look at the redesigned Nissan Quest 3.5 SE. We were instantly impressed by this luxury/sport vans handling! This blows away the concept that minivans have to be boring, unimaginative people movers Review By: ithndr

Would you believe there is room left over. We are going camping next month and we will definitely have a better time with all the space. We just bought a 2008 Nissan Quest after looking and driving other make(Honda & toyota), but in my own opinion this is the best among them, in terms of performance, comfort, finish quality and value. This van runs like my E 350 MB, very smooth and responsive, and more features for your money. Reliability and dependabilty, I like Nissan Quest, this is our fifth nissan car.Review By: atf

Nissan 350z 2008 Review
About Nissan 350z
Nissan 350z is a two seat sports car manufactured by Nissan Motor Co, LTD. The Nissan 350z is the fifth (and current) generation of Nissan's Z-car line, originally introduced in 1969 (as a 1970 model year) as the Datsun 240Z.

The Nissan 350z is a front engine rear-wheel-drive two door sports car designed by Ajay Panchal of Nissan Design America (San Diego, California). Interior cabin design is straight forward with brushed aluminium accents. The main gauge pod is mounted directly to the steering column allowing their movement to coincide with steering wheel adjustments. Additional gauges are mounted in a centre triple gauge cluster. The Nissan 350z’s interior does not have a conventional glove box, instead it makes use of various storage compartments located either behind or between the two seats.

Specifications Nissan 350z
The Nissan 350z underwent a modest update for the 2008 model year, which includes both mechanical and visual improvements. The biggest change comes in the form of a new, more powerful, 3.5-liter V6 engine, rated at 306 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque with both the close-ratio 6-speed manual and 5-speed automatic transmissions.

Review
I think everything has been said about what's great about this Nissan 350z. I took my up to Lake Tahoe from San Francisco and that was the most fun I had in Nissan 350z. It's definitely a driver's car. Note to wives and girlfriends out there: If you are passenger, you might not like it so much. My wife, who usually never gets car sick, did riding as the passenger. It's built very low and you feel everything. Also, if you have a bad back, getting in and out could be a chore. Review By: Ben

Review
I have had my Nissan 350z for 2 months and so far it's been a complete thrill to drive. It's fast, yet refined! It turns heads and gets attention. The powerful V6 really kicks and the baritone exhaust sounds melodious especially in higher RPMs. If you drive Nissan 350z it smooth (which is VERY hard to do) you can get good mpg, but driving it like a true sports car can cause some frequent trips to the pump. The 6-speed transmission has great response on all 6 gears. All this for under 30K! Best deal out there!Review By: Memo Z

Review
My first week with Audi A5 reveals it's a well-made car. Exterior design appears even much more beautiful in real life than the pictures. Walter de Silva (designer) was right when he says Audi A5 is his best design. Interior design is peerless, controls perfect and intuitive, fit and finish defines fit and finish. Audi design doing in the auto world what Apple computers did in the computer world. Performance of the V-6 is not as robust as the BMW 335i coupe, which was the other car to choose from. However, Audi A5 is powerful enough for everything besides drag- racing. Review By: Franklin

I have owned Audi A5 for a couple of months now, and all I can say is wow. Though it is down on horsepower compared to the BMW 335, it completely makes up in looks. Two months ago, I was at a stop light on a main road. A man was too busy looking at my A5, he drove into the car in front of him. I love the fact I got parked in front of the restaurant by valet. I love that I cannot go a night without a compliment, I just love the car. Review By: AudiConvert

2008 Audi R8 Specifications end Review
About Audi R8
The Audi R8 is a mid-engined sports car introduced by the German automaker Audi in 2007. Audi announced in 2005 that the name of the successful Audi R8 race car would be used for a new road car in 2007, the Audi R8, based on the Audi Le Mans quattro concept car, appearing at the 2003 Geneva Auto Show and 2003 International Motor Show.

The Audi R8 was officially launched at the Paris Auto Show on 30 September 2006. There is some confusion with the name, which the car shares with the Le Mans winning Audi R8 LMP. Originally, many thought the car would be called the R9

Specifications Audi R8
Audi R8The Audi R8 TDI Le Mans produces 500 PS (493 hp/368 kW) and 1,000 N·m (738 ft·lbf) of torque. It uses Audi's quattro permanent four-wheel drive system, and is mid-engined. It has a six-speed manual gearbox. It goes from 0-62 mph in 4.2 seconds, and its top speed is 202 mph (325 km/h).
A V10 engined version is also planned for 2009, but was put on hold in December 2007. This version of the Audi R8 was initially going to have the same engine as the RS6, a 5.2 litre V10 engine. The Audi R8 is made distinct by its exterior styling, cabin, engine, and pricing. Safety features include ABS, front dual-stage airbags, ESC, and side-impact airbags.

Audi got this car right! The fact that this car is mentioned in the same breath as a Porsche 911 Turbo and other high end sports cars says a lot about a car that didn't exist 2 years ago. The Audi R8 drives like it is on rails and sticks like paint. Be prepared to be stared at in the Audi R8 and watch as little kids point at it. The engine sounds awesome. I have considered many sports cars but $ for $ there is no better one out there. Probably why there is a 2 year wait for it. Do whatever you can and get one. Review By: R8Heaven

Audi R8 is a dream come true. Everything about it is stylish and classy with a sort of dirty elegence. With its superior handling and stream-lined body style this is truly a car to be appreciated. Review By: Logan D

2008 Audi Q7 Specifications end Review
About Audi Q7
The Audi Q7 is a full-size luxury sport utility vehicle (SUV) produced by German automaker AudiThe Audi Q7 utilizes a modified version of the Volkswagen Group 7L platform, the 4L. Based on the Audi Pikes Peak quattro concept car, the Audi Q7 is designed more for on-road use, and was not meant for serious off-road use where a transfer case is needed, but in an offroad test through the Australian Out-Back it fared well for a "soft roader".

Despite its multiple airbags and safety electronics, such as ESP, Audi Q7 scored only four stars out of five in the Euro NCAP crash test. According to Audi, this was caused by a design error, and has since been fixed in cars manufactured after the test which should allegedly lead to five stars. However, official tests to prove this remain to be done as of November 2006.

Specifications Audi Q7
Audi Q7Audi's 350 PS (345 hp/257 kW), 440 N·m (325 ft·lbf) 4163 cc V8 and 280 PS (276 hp/206 kW), 360 N·m (266 ft·lbf) V6 3596 cc petrol engines, both with FSI technology, are offered. Interestingly, Q7 using either engine has the same 0 - 100 km/h performance.

Two diesel options are available; a 240 PS (237 hp/177 kW) 3.0L V6 and in mid-2007 the 4.2 litre 331 PS (326 hp/243 kW) diesel with 760 N·m (561 ft·lbf) torque known from the Audi A8 was introduced. Audi is reportedly going to introduce a hybrid version of the Q7 in 2008

I've had my Audi Q7 for a few weeks now and I couldn't be more impressed with it. The ride, design, and comfort is unsurpassed. Being a technophile, this vehicle leaves you asking for no more. The iPod/iPhone interface is seamless, the navigation is easy to use and the overall MMI provides you with any information you could ask for. I selected the adaptive air suspension option, and that has turned out to be a great option, giving the car an adjustable ride, depending on the conditions. Review By: stanleyj73

I rented a Audi Q7 3.6 for two weeks in March. The ride is much smoother, handling not as stiff, brakes not as touchy compared to the Audi Q7 I rented. The standard front sensors and rear parking camera are incredible. The slight front bucket seats are very comfortable. The standard 20 inch wheels are a great touch at medium and high speeds but a little rigid at speeds below 45mph. Better off with these 20s than the 19s or 18s when it comes to handling. The acceleration, S turn capability, ride are perfect. Stereo system doesn't get any better. For driving around town, I suggest getting the 3.6. Second row leg room would better for a SUV of this size. A Plus grade over all. Review By: oceankayaker7

I've owned a Volvo XC90 AWD since 2004 and I was looking for a change. I narrowed my choices down to the BMW X5, Land Rover and the Audi Q7. After many back-to-back-to-back test drives I bought the Audi Q7 and I have never looked back! This car continues to impress and amaze me with it's effortless driving and sumptuous interior... this is my first Audi and it won't be my last. The MMI system works great (much better than the iDrive in my wife's BMW 3 series) and the advanced parking system makes short work of tight parking spaces. Review By: joefrank64k

2008 Audi A6 Specifications end Review
About Audi A6
The Audi A6 is an executive car produced by the German automaker Audi. The second and third generation A6 were also used as the basis for the allroad quattro. In 1997 the scene changed strikingly for the Audi A6. With the introduction of an ambitious new design (C5) and a new pack of engines, the A6 moved up a notch and was positioned alongside the hegemonic BMW 5-Series and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

The new Audi A6 (C6) was released in 2005. Designed by Walter de'Silva, the new model is visually an evolution of the C5, but is longer (492 cm), incorporates the new Audi trademark single-frame grille, and features more sophisticated technology.

Specifications Audi A6
Audi A6Audi unveiled the upgraded Audi A6 on the August 12, 2008. It features a new engine variant, a 290 PS (286 hp/213 kW) 3.0 liter V6 TSI powered by a supercharger, one of the 6 petrol and 4 diesel engines available for the upgraded Audi A6. The second-generation A6 was on Car and Driver magazine's Ten Best list for 2000 and 2001. The updated 2005 Audi A6 won the World Car of the Year award for 2005.

Review
The 2008 Audi A6 replaced my 2001 A6. While the 2001 Audi A6 was a solid car, Audi has upped their game significantly with the 2008. The build quality is outstanding - equal or better than my wife's MB E320. The interior is beautiful, a great blend of class and high tech. The car is very fun to drive, tight in turns, plenty of pep for a V6 and the MPG is far better than the the gov't ratings - 26/27mpg in mixed driving, 30+mpg on the road. The MMI system with the Bose/Sirius is easy to use, and the high tech display is excellent. The cabin is very quiet, so you can really enjoy the great sound system - great improvement from the Audi Symphony system in my 2001 Audi A6. Overall, this is a terrific car. Review By: Enthused

I was in the market for an all-wheel drive german executive car, so my choices were the MB E350 4Matic, BMW 535xi, or the Audi A6 3.2, and I went with the Audi. And I really think I made the right choice. I don't like the idea that underneath it's a Passat, but the interior styling is unmatched and look nothing alike. The Quattro system works beautifully in all conditions. I'm getting about 31MPG average, which is great for this sized car. I'm just slightly disapointed with the acceleration. When merging on a highway(especially in NJ!), it's somewhat lazy and throttle response isn't as immediate as I hoped for. Like all Audi.s, the ride is firm, so beware of long trips. Review By: Tom M

Review
My third Audi A6 offers loads of improvements over its earlier siblings. Ride is significantly more solid. Handling is so precise it's like a vacuum sucking the backtop. Engine performance is powerful and at least 10% more economical than the 3.0 in my previous 2003 Audi A6. Views are stimulating from approaching the vehicle to behind the wheel. Several minor cost cutting steps should be noted: more narrow seats and thinner cushions than the previous models, door pockets are "cheaper," manual fuel filler door replaces and automatic release, head restrants no- longer swivel. I also miss oil temp. and volt gauges. Review By: Steve

The basic vehicle was shared between the Japanese and North American markets. The Odyssey was also the first minivan to have a flat-folding third row seat.

I have never owned a Honda but had seen and heard about the Honda Odyssey and decided it was worth a look. We bought and have fallen in love with the van. We only have one child but really like the room, convenience, the ride and overall quality. My wife has been stuck on SUVs and has told me over and over again what a smart buy this van was and how she absolutely loves it. You will not be disappointed and can be comforted with the fact that as a Honda product your going to get the value (resale/residual) and the performance and life expectancy you expect. Oh and the gas mileage after 3,000 miles is pretty good. I can cruise at 75 and be on 3 cylinders. I'm getting about 22.5 - 25 city/hwy. Review By: Tom Ryan

It has been a month and 1,000 miles since we got our Honda Odyssey. I am very impressed with the van and I am very happy with the buy. The van drives very smooth and plenty of power and good agility. It is also very roomy and comfortable. We have 2 car seats and the interior room is great for our family. The sound system and the DVD player Honda Odyssey works great. The Navi and DVD are easy to use. I first thought there might be too many features to learn. But it only took me a short time to be very comfortable with all of the controls and features. The gas mileage is good for a vehicle this size, thanks to the cylinder deactivation. I get 18 to 23 combined both freeway and city. Review By: SPDFAN

We just leased a 2008 Honda Odyssey last week of May. Barely three months old, on our way for a vacation the car broke down. It was brought into a Honda dealer and they found that there was a leak on the transmission and the clutch was burned. Good thing we were able to stop at the nearest area. So scared of what happened as we were with our five year old son. Now, even if we take it back and they changed the whole transmission, i will never feel safe again especially for our son.
